Executive Director

As the CBRA Project Coordinator and now the Executive Director, Kate Potter supports and promotes the work of the 19 UNESCO biosphere regions in Canada. Kate supports the biosphere regions through internal national projects like capacity-building webinars, proposal writing, communication-related projects, and administrative help to the CBRA Board of Directors and Executive Committee where needed. Kate promotes the biosphere regions through national and international conversations and relationship building.

Kate lives on the shores of Lake Ontario approximately 1.5 hours east of Toronto between the Frontenac Arch and Niagara Escarpment Biosphere Regions. She considers herself extremely fortunate to work with such an amazing group of dedicated and innovative biosphere regions.
